Primary Care Professionals have found it helpful to have knowledge of the changes that occur in their patients, as they reintegrate into the community. It is a Brain Injury Association Peterborough Region (BIAPR) tradition to learn from experience as families and caregivers learn from one another.

While every experience is unique, there are patterns and commonalities which surface as our clients share and educate us through their personal life experiences with brain injury. To facilitate this type of learning, BIAPR strives to provide an open forum for dialogue.

BIAPR is a proud affiliate of Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA).  Educational opportunities offered by OBIA form the basis of education for all staff involved in frontline outreach to individuals with ABI and their care partners.

See www.obia.ca for more provincial initiatives for education, especially Brain Basics and Brock University Courses.
